DTA Is Finally Here: Suss Entertainment’s Romantic Comedy “Down the Aisle” Makes Its Global Debut

After years in the making, Down the Aisle — the debut feature film from Suss Entertainment, a division of Suss Entertainment Services — is finally here. The 2022 romantic comedy marks a significant milestone for the studio, representing both a creative triumph and the official launch of Suss’s narrative and film division, focused on telling African stories from a global perspective.

What began as a small in-house pitch for a short film soon evolved into a full-fledged, heartfelt feature — one that has captured audiences with its charm, humor, and emotional resonance. The film follows Oludare as she walks down the aisle on her wedding day, navigating a flurry of memories, emotions, and unexpected revelations. It’s a story about love, choices, and the beautiful chaos that defines modern relationships.

Down the Aisle (DTA) features an impressive ensemble cast, bringing together some of Nollywood’s finest talents — Lota Chukwu, Andrew Bunting, Ade Laoye, Bucci Franklin, Nengi Adoki, Bamike Adenibuyan, Tamara Aihie, Daniel Etim Effiong, Efa Iwara, Maurice Sam, Iya Rainbow, Yemi Solade, Baba Latin, Broda Shaggi, Officer Woos, Nkem Owoh, and many more.
